Just moving along

Friday morning I woke up with a horrible headache. I’m pretty sure that it was sinuses because it got better when I pressed the corresponding acupressure points.  Either way it was a totally wasted day for me. We’ve been doing saline nasal washes twice a day but I am no way as diligent as Husband so I paid the price. He has also been adding a few drops of tea tree oil to his neti pot. Being a bit of a woos, I declined the additive, but I’m now a believer.  I am also feeling like a normal human today, so it was only a 24 hour thing.

I want to thank everyone who came to the Book Signing. It was a lot of fun. Joanna blogged about it and posted some great photos from the event. We’re talking about doing another one but in Merida this time.

My funk has dissipated. I really appreciate the advice and nice comments that you all gave me. The sun has come out and maybe it will be warm enough to swim soon. I am so looking forward to getting into the water again. You’d think that being a Pisces I would never get out of the pool but while I’m as wishy-washy as the next fishy I am not a big fan of being wet.

I finished a baby blanket and one of my friends muled it NOB for me.retro crochet baby blanket

Here it is before I blocked it. I forgot to take photos afterwards. I’m going to be taking more photos from now on. It just may take awhile. I made two different granny squares, Picture Frame designed by Lisa Naskrent that came from the free ebook, Chain Reaction and More V’s please by Melinda Miller available as a free Ravelry download. I did a variety of stitches for the border and to be honest I can’t remember which ones they were.

So I’m back with bells on. I’ll have more to show you next week.

  1. Barb, I stand by my statement that it’s beacuse the cold weather. Thought today is pretty nice so far!

Carol GJ, I start way more than I finish. But I should look at it as I know when to give up on a lost cause!

    regards,
    Theresa

  2. And you say you don’t finish things…the blanket is beautiful.

  3. I’m glad your funk has lifted. Seems a lot of folks have been feeling a bit out of sorts this winter.

    That blanket is absolutely gorgeous!
