Movie star lookalike

It’s been warm lately. I think it’s been in the low hundreds, I try not to look at the weather. Somehow knowing the temperature makes experiencing it much worse. The mobile groomers called me, yes, that is not a typo, they called me and asked if Mr Dog needed a clip. I haven’t decided what his grooming schedule should be, maybe every 3 weeks in this heat. I told them to clip him short. They decided to let him keep some hair on his head.
Now he looks like Falkor, the luck dragon from The Never Ending Story.

  1. AMM, Thanks, I can’t wait to eat the pinapple.

Islagringo, he is adorable in every way! Thank you!

    regards,

  2. Catching up …

Love your post about the high award – what a great story.

That pineapple is so, so impressive!

  3. Jonna, he even has red eyes like Falcor! or at least in that photo. That was a fun movie, I like it and the Princess Bride.

Steve, Professor Jiggs speaks dog with a gringo accent, but I am sure the other perros understand him perfectly. You will be amazed at how soon he picks up Spanish. Words like botana especially!

Teresa, we get fumble fingered. If I could send you some heat and get some rain, I would! Have a nice weekend.

RCT, He’s join Sugar in giving me the stink eye if he even thought that I wanted to ride him! That would be an adventure and half by itself!

Chrissy, Mr Dog did not want his photo taken, I wonder if he knows how silly he looks? But he is already much friskier!

glorv1, he is sooo much happier with less hair. He gets into a snit about it, but once he starts feeling cooler, he gets over it. Have a good weekend too.

    regards,
    Theresa

  4. He is so cute and looks so happy. It’s always better to keep them closely trimmed in times of heat. He is a darling. Have a great weekend.

  5. Gordy, my long hair tuxedo cat is 1 month over due for his annual summer shearing. He gets a lion cut and is very odd looking for about 6 months, but it is the only way he can tolerate the summer temps.

  6. He looks so cute. Luckily he does not need to fly you to an adventure… you are already living one. Cute pics.

  7. oh my gosh, i certainly had my fingers in the wrong spot on some words in that last comment. of course i meant, send us some of your heat.

  8. i think he’s much cuter than falkor. send ud domr of your heat and i’ll send you some of our rain.

    have a great weekend!

  9. Professor Jiggs wants to tell the neighbor dogs he knows a movie star — or a look-alike. Of course, I have no idea what he is telling the neighbor dogs. But they seem to understand one another.

  10. He does! I loved that movie. And Mr Dog looks very cute with his summer do. I’m sure he is cooler too.
