still processing it all

The 2nd Annual Latin American Bloggers Meet and Greet has come and gone. I am still thinking about everything.

Out of 28 bloggers who expressed interest, 20 of us were able to attend. Nancy and Paul of Countdown to Mexico came from the furthest away in México. Paula and Stephen from the Dodwells Head South are the furthest from their original home country (they are Brits who arrived by way of Canada). Jonna & Mimi of Blah, blah, blah Ginger tied Lin from Crazy, Gone Native for traveling the least, since they graciously opened their homes to the bloggers for the welcome party and the conferences.

The blogroll for the event doesn’t match the number of attendees because some of us have more than one blog and some of the bloggers write as a team. I even think I missed a few. Here they are in alphabetical order.

  2. I’m so sorry to have missed the big event! Nice to have a list of all the bloggers who attended, will check out the ones I don’t know.

Thanks for organizing the event Theresa, you’re lovely!

  3. AMM, it was a great gathering! We all wish you could have been there too.

Calypso, There never is the perfect time to hold something like this. I hope that you can come to the next one, they will only get better as more bloggers participate.

Joanne, you are welcome! There are some first rate bloggers out there!

  4. Thanks Theresa for listing all the blogs. I already go to a number of them regularly, but now there are more for me to check out!

  5. Sorry we missed it – a difficult time to get away for us. Maybe next year 😉

  6. Soundes like a wonderful gathering!

  7. JJ, they say “to know Merida is to love her.” I just wish that the rains would start up again!
Thank goodness for my nieghbor’s swimming pool! ( I go and exercise most mornings with her).

  8. Oh I am so jealous. I saw Mimi and Jonna’s Flicker pictures and so wished I was there. There is something so.. so… je ne sais quois about Merida and the Yucatan. It still beats the hell out of the west coast. I can’t wait to start reading about everyone’s take on the meetup!
